The new power system is characterized by "dual-high" (high proportion of renewable energy and power electronic equipment) and "dual-large" (large-scale renewable energy bases and large-capacity AC/DC transmission channels). This forum focuses on two core topics: "security defense" and "intelligent flexible control", aiming to explore cutting-edge technologies and innovative theories for ensuring the safe and stable operation of new power systems. In the field of "security defense", key discussions include fault characteristics and new protection principles for "dual-high" power systems, relay protection for UHV AC/DC systems and nearby grids, safety prevention technologies for large power equipment, and strategies against cascading failures under extreme disasters. For "intelligent flexible control", emphasis is placed on addressing stability risks caused by high uncertainty and strong nonlinear interactions, transient frequency/voltage instability under large-scale power electronic applications, and coordinated control of heterogeneous power electronic devices.
